Pennsylvania Guild Fine Craft Fair
On the 9th and 10th of November the Lancaster Convention Center will play host to a holiday craft fair featuring some 140 vendors. Come and shop for beautiful handmade furniture, fine art, unique jewelry, and much more. All vendors were chosen by jury, so only the finest items will be on offer.
Asking Alexandria Concert
Fans of heavy metal and electronicore will want to head to Lancaster’s Freedom Hall at 1:00 PM on November 2 for what’s sure to be an unforgettable performance. Dubai based band Asking Alexandria will appear, along with both Reckless Feast and Trivium.
Taste the World
Taste the World is one of the most popular Lancaster PA events of the year. Come to 24 East King Street on November 8 between 4:45 and 6:30 to see what all the fuss is about!
You’ll take part in a themed walking tour of area restaurants featuring soups from around the world. On the tour you can sample delicious Irish stew, Italian spinach and lentil soup, a lemon chicken soup from Greece, and much more.
Lancaster Ghost Tours
Come and experience the paranormal side of town, and learn more about local history on a chilling ghost tour. Tours are available on Friday and Saturday nights throughout November, and will depart from the Soldiers and Sailors monument at 8 PM.
Caitlin Jane Performance
If you’re a fan of Christian music, you won’t want to miss Caitlin Jane’s appearance in Lancaster. She’ll perform at Emmaus Road Café at 7 PM on November 2, and will be playing some of her own songs.
Ms. Jane’s voice has been compared to legendary artists like Natalie Merchant and Sarah McLachlan, so the concert is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Intermediate Digital Photography Workshop
If you’re interested in learning how to produce high quality digital photos, head to 355 North Queen Street on November 9 from 10AM till 2PM. You’ll be shown how to use the latest in photo editing software, and how to incorporate design elements that will make your pictures stand out from the crowd.
Christmas Production of The First Noel
Starting on November 5, and running through the end of December, Lancaster’s American Music Theater will host their production of The First Noel.
With its selection of classic Christmas music, and a cast that provides stellar vocal performances, the show is sure to put you in the holiday spirit.
Kids and Cultures – Philippines
Bring your kids to the Lancaster Public Library on November 14 at 6:30PM for a fascinating cultural experience. Children will learn more about what life is like in the Philippines by participating in an interactive presentation, and listening to stories from the guest presenter. A game and craft project will add to the fun for all attendees.
First Friday $5 at North Museum of Natural History
On November 15 from 5-7 PM there will be a special discount for admission to Lancaster’s North Museum of Natural History and Science. Guests of all ages can enjoy a fascinating planetarium show, and the opportunity for some independent stargazing.
Gifts that Give Hope Fair
On Saturday November 23 from 10AM to 4PM, the Farm and Home Center in Lancaster will host a special fair. More than 30 non-profit groups will be taking part in the event, and will be offering a wide range of Fair Trade items for sale.
